A. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at The Symes, 150 Symes Road Toronto

A. KCS parents alumni parents, KCS faculty and staff, adult alumni, friends, extended family, prospective families and Kingsway community members.
Q. What can I expect at the KCS 30th Anniversary Diamond Gala?
A. Come prepared to enjoy an evening with cocktails, strolling food stations, live music, one-of-a-kind live and silent auction packages. This is more of a cocktail party experience. It is not a sit-down dinner.
Q. What are the funds from the KCS 30th Anniversary Diamond Gala benefitting?
A. All proceeds from the evening will support the creation of a new fund to enhance the KCS Student Entrepreneurship Program – StEP. This authentic opportunity will support students in grades 6 to 8 with entrepreneurial ambitions. Those willing to do the hard work of launching a viable enterprise will gain access to formal mentorship by established entrepreneurs, and seed money if needed through our new StEP Fund. This program is being delivered in partnership with Future Design School and through the generous volunteer support of KCS parent-entrepreneurs.
Q. What should I wear?
A. The dress code theme for the KCS 30th Anniversary Diamond Gala is “Denim and Diamonds.” From black-tie formal to cocktail chic, the choice is yours! Pair your favourite denim with glittering diamonds and be ready to dance the night away.

A. There are lots of different ways to be a part of the KCS 30th Anniversary Diamond Gala

- Donate an item to our live or silent auction – we are looking for more sports packages and exclusive experience packages in particular
- Purchase a ticket for our Jewellery Raffle – for 100$ you can buy a ticket for the chance to win a diamond and sapphire pendant necklace valued at $6,441 generously donated by Humbertown Jewellers
Q. Where is the event entrance?
A. The main doors to The Symes are located off of Symes Road adjacent to the venue parking lot.
Q. What do the tickets cost?
A. All tickets are $330. There is no table purchase for this event.
Q. How do I get tickets?
A. Buy your tickets here from our secure website.
Q. Do you sell tickets at the door?
A. No. Tickets are only available in advance.
Q. Do you need a physical ticket to gain entrance to the event?
A. No. Your purchase will be registered online and you will be asked to check in at registration upon arrival at The Symes. Physical tickets are not required.
Q. What is included in the cost of my ticket?
A. Dinner from strolling food stations, cocktails dancing, live music and live and silent auctions.
Q. I have a dietary restriction/allergy – what do I do?
A. Please contact Hallie McClelland at firstname.lastname@example.org with any dietary concerns. We are pleased to offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options at the various strolling food stations.
Q. Is there a coat check?
A. Yes, coat check will be available.
Q. Will there be valet parking?
A. There is no valet parking for this event but The Symes has 100 parking spots available immediately near the front entrance.
Q. How often do we have a gala at KCS?
A. The last KCS gala was the KCS Speakeasy: Play for the Park Gala hosted in the spring of 2017.
